Even before finishing college, Abby knew she was destined for a career in real estate. After switching her major from math education to business, with a concentration in real estate, and interning for two residential brokerage firms, she was “sold” on her newfound profession. She purchased her first home at age 22 before she had even graduated college. Abby began her real estate career as a loan officer in Wichita, Kansas and in 2012, transferred with the company to Chicago. After about a year she made the move to the real estate side working as director of sales and marketing at a small residential brokerage. During that time, she helped increase the firm’s revenues by 500 percent. She subsequently transitioned into brokerage, using her familiarity with the industry to deliver an exceptional level of service to clients. She enjoys educating buyers and sellers about the various processes and negotiations associated with a home sale, carefully guiding them through purchase contracts and listing agreements while maintaining an open line of communication. She also draws on her personal experiences as a young homebuyer when working with first-time purchasers, as well as her experiences as a Chicago transplant when advising renters. Abby has a beagle-mix, rescue dog named Jax, and as a pet-lover, she also enjoys working with clients who seek pet-friendly homes.
